Lately, I pride myself on NOT knowing the time of day. Hopefully, I’ll forget the day, month, year as I grow older.

Well your AK-47 watch seems to have a crack on the screen?! That's vintage alright!

I can't wear any kind of jewelry period. Stuff just hanging on me drives me insane. I've seen some nice watches and can appreciate them. But wear one ? Can't do it

I love my iPad and iPhone, but I’m afraid of red-lining the dork-meter if I wore an Apple Watch. It just feels too much like the ‘70s digital watch fad all over again. I have a couple of watches I wear if I’m going out, but it’s as much out of tradition than anything else. My wife hasn’t worn a watch since the 1990s, because she always carries her cell phone.

What features do your kids and wife use on the Apple Watch?

Was on a chairlift when skiing a few days ago and I asked my friend the time, I gotta say it took me back a second when he pulled his jacket cuff to look, and made me realize I hadn't seen that in quite a while, weird! I have a very nice Swiss Army wristwatch up in my bedroom drawer, haven't worn it for many years and feel guilty about it, as my wife gave it to me for Christmas years ago.

I think mine was $20 bucks. The wildest thing is also I use the alarm 5 days a week too and yet still no need for a battery change 13 years on. . .

I love cheap watches. Mainly Casios or Timex. One of my Casios has a “ten year battery”. I bought it in the summer of 2012 and so help me God I will file a class action lawsuit if the battery dies before 2022!

I have been a huge fan of the Citizen solars as well for years. My latest is a Citizen Eco-drive Promaster Professional, but all the other dress styles are still running strong after 8-10 years.

I do like the Freestyle watches...been mostly a Citizen wearer for years though. Hard to beat the price point on what has been a very reliable watch.

Back when I was stilling doing stand-up, I used to point out to people that in EVERY single porn movie the guy is always wearing a watch. Buck naked, but always still wearing the watch....and it was always a cheap one at that. My hope was that from that day forward audience members who watch a porno will get pissed off when they start noticing the brand of watch instead of the action. "Hey, I have that same Casio".

I am willing to bet that my name was cursed many times since those days.

I've worn a worn a watch since I was a kid--24/7. I know they are obsolete, but if I don't have it on, I feel like something's missing and it bugs me.

Apple Watch. Yes it's ugly. My doc told me to get a HR monitor and EKG and keep them on me, so it does that. I get text messages all day for work and it shows them to me very conveniently, which is incredibly handy for a trades worker with tools in his hands who cannot stop and get the phone out to read messages. I went probably 35-40 years without wearing a watch until I got this one a year ago.

Mine is alive and ticking. Now that I'm retired, I don't need to wear it daily. But it's ready for me every time I go out.

I have a Casio with a ten-year battery, too. I bought it for its stopwatch function, and I only put it on when I'm exercising or grilling. I change the hour twice a year with the Daylight Saving conspiracy, and the second counter is never far off the official time. Very impressive.

I took it apart out of curiosity when I bought it a couple of years ago to replace a Timex that fell apart. If I remember correctly, the "ten-year battery" is a 2025, which is cheap and widely available. If you have a tiny screwdriver to open the back, no problem.

Watches, rings and necklaces have always felt uncomfortable to me.

I’ve owned all of them at one time or another. Only thing I wear these days is my wedding ring.

I wear my Movado everyday. I also have an Omega Seamaster and Eternamatic that I wear from time to time.
I don’t like the plasticky look of smart watches...they look like toys to me

I still wear a mechanical wristwatch. It's nice to get away from digital and it confuses the new generations. Kind of like the manual transmission of the timekeeping world.
