Here's an example of something I've been seeing repeatedly for a couple of years now. This one comes from an ad on Facebook but I see this nonsense in numerous places. "Over the years I have trained well over 2,054 men of all ages......" I just don't get it. The number 2,054 is a VERY specific number. It's not a number that indicates a general range. It's a number that has pinpoint accuracy. So does it not make more sense to say "Over the years I have trained well over 2,000 men of all ages......". What is going on with people's thinking. How is this a 'thing' that I keep seeing. How can a person type this and not look at it and think to themselves, "This seems silly". It's making me cuckoo!! Now, get off my lawn!
