Yes, definitely a site issue, not user or network.

Trying to remember... the site was down for a few days a couple weeks ago, then it got better. But I think there have been at least two other times, before yesterday, that the page wouldn't load when I tried. When I say this, I mean, not just one page load, but the site was down, unresponsive, etc.

Then yesterday, I couldn't get on at all for most of the day. And I'm seeing the same missing threads/ posts that @telemnemonics is reporting.

The site has been down for me, as I reported above, and it's on my desktop. Rarely phone.

It’s the community, the knowledge base, the experience, the humor and the wisdom I use this site for.
Have had Asian pop up and Congrats pop up redirect issues a while , but I find it a mild inconvenience not a ball busting violation of my TDPRI citizen rights.
I still remember scouring Guitar player magazines in the late 1970’s and early 80’s for months answers to questions I had. Now with the WWW AND TDPRI I can find answers before I’ve even thought of the question. I’m a recovering Bass player, switched to guitar full time in 1999. This site has helped advance my playing exponentially and I am a grateful recipient of its members kindness to share knowledge.

Never had problems, except for that whatever-it-was a couple of months ago when it was not working at all.

    Same.

Not just user search. I searched for 'table saw', and got nothing since then, either.

It depends if you use it on a phone or not. I only ever (try to) access it on a phone and at least half the time no content shows at all.

I’ve more or less stopped using it as a result, and as most people usually use their phone to access it then I do worry how long it can last if it doesn’t sort out the technical problems.

OK, this is weird. From the home page, I search 'tablesaw', and get nothing newer than 2016. From the same page, I search 'table saw', and I get the recent thread that's been missing, with the single word 'tablesaw' in the title. Something's broken.

I and others have reported problems on both phone and desktop with a variety of browsers.

... and just the last few minutes, pages on this site only take 90 seconds or more to load.

The lack of history from 2017/2018 is troubling. All else can crash and burn, and be reconstructed. But if the data's gone, it's gone. The site is distinctly unhealthy.

You know the old saying. "There's one in every crowd" I think we have found him fellow TDPI'ers. Haters and Tele's just don't go together.

    Good riddens!!!!

I bow my head, apologise and stand corrected.

The site was unobtainable on my desktop about 30 minutes ago:oops::oops::oops:

I'm going to take my own advice and leave for a few days.

There is nothing about TDPRI that is critical to my wellbeing.

Interesting, I did the search two hours ago as both one and two words and it didn't come up for either spelling.
You got a pretty funny result though...

You haven't been here long enough for that. But when you learn to spell those big words like riddance, then it'll be acceptable!

It's running extremely slowly for me, so much so that it's getting to be more of annoyance than a pleasure to come here. Like just now I gave up trying to see all the pages of this thread because it's taking a looooong time to load when I click "next." The search not working is annoying also. It works just dandy over at The Gear Page. Which also loads fast.

It's always possible it's only me, or only my region, or something peculiar to my computer, but again, no such problem at other forums. Right now it feels like that perpetually traffic choked road that you avoid by finding a different route.

OSX house, TDPRI bad on all devices
