Don't ya just hate guitarists who have all those "stink-face" expressions when they play? Buckethead is almost as bad as Joe Bonnamassa........
I knew our Peegoo from the now-defunct FDP....another cool fact about him...he is close with one of my Very best friends and musical collaborators AC of A.C.Rev.....Who is also the AC of Rumpelstiltskin Pickups. The plot thickens....
Aaron does great work!
That’s a relief.
for you, or for me?
For you...if you've ever heard of Colonel Sanders
just for the record, PG - I am NOT a hen.
good joke, though. I guess I better look out for Southern Colonels.
Yes he does.The best.
I wasn't implying you are a hen, jhundt. I offered that bit of info because Colonel Sanders is old and extremely near-sghted; he frequently mixes up his hens and roosters.
I saw him go after a skunk once. He called it a "stinkchicken," the doddering old fool.
you're good with me, Mr. xxxxxxx!
I'm pretty sure Peegoo is a shirt-tail relative of my good friend and ex-brother-in-law, Goom .
Back when my brothers daughter was just learning to talk, she wasn't quite able to wrap her tongue around the sound of "J" in the word Jim, so Uncle Jim became Uncle Goom.
I've called my friend Jim, "Goom" ever since.
How about it, am I close Uncle Peegoo?
Which came first, the egg or @jhundt ?
I think the more he denies it, the more he is Dan Erlewine. Hi Dan!
I told you here back on page 2 that I was Dan Erlewine.
Beware of cheap imitations.
What happens inside TDPRI stays inside TDPRI. Or something like that.
Larry Blyden will straighten this out.
Peegoo is obviously code for something.
Now either he played with Pearl Jam, or it’s shorthand for “PEte Fountain” (extra “e” added to facilitate correct pronunciation) and Benny GOOdman.
So we’re looking for a Telecaster-playing guitarist who was heavily influenced by clarinetists and jazz.
Or it could be a book code. I’m going to start looking at the initial letter in each sentence in “War and Peace”. If I find a relevant page, I’ll let you all know. We can pick up the trail from there.
