Just a little, I lean rosewood personally.
Gits are like gals, you can't luv them all. But you should attempt to luv as many as possible IMO.
So you like my TX Special pic then?
If I had a strat it would be a hardtail, black body, plate and pickups with a rosewood neck - almost the complete opposite of yours..
Funny how we just like what we like. I have always loved Becks white out strat. The one on the cover of the Wired album. Just beautiful.
My taste have changed in the last couple of years. I love the early mid 60s car colors w/rosewood fretboards, Fiesta Red, Shell Pink, Sea Foam Green, Salmon.
With a single-ply white guard, white with a maple board is definitely up there. I am not a fan of this look with multi-ply guards, though. I also like the white to be a true white, not cream.
My favorite Strat look is black, '50's style, like the famous Harold A. Reed Strat (possibly the first black Strat ever made), Blackie, David Gilmour's, Dave Murray's/Paul Kossof's guitar, etc.:
I prefer the rosewood neck, but either way...
Paint has a habit of being too opaque to let the natural beauty come through, IMO....says the guy with a purple painted guitar in his avatar....
It is the most beautiful strat along with a few others. Oly white / RW is in the same class to me
I dunno, was just looking at my 82 62 reissue and thinking the same thing.
I've got a white Strat, but I do prefer rosewood boards.
Great taste in guitars, t-shirts and presumably, music!
Anything looks better than this.
