In nature, only the strongest of the herd get to mate. Also, the weakest are easily picked off by predators. This keeps the species strong.

With humans, we have adopted the policy of protecting the fatally stupid from themselves.

ive seen nature at work...and the stupid meet with untimelies...i know how it all works
cant wrap everyone in cotton wool...think of those great engineers...were they concerned?...no....none would be built..too many mollycoddling safety breifings...if charlie falls off...he should be watching what hes doing...does his brother want his job?
if someone invented the car last year you wouldnt be allowed one in case you had a mishap in it
people were less concerned with risk way back when...now you get some twit in a clean white hard hat and hiviz vest,,...crying out in a squeaky voice...ooo..you cant do that....somebody might hurt themselves...or break a nail...or break wind....big jessops...
same jessops that would send us somewhere we didnt know existed ..to freeze or die some other way for their own vanity...but they wouldnt do it themselves
and i know the dangers of an upright unsupported 10t ships anchor....pity the stupid bloke working on it didnt...CRUNCH...groin up beartrap...10ton of it
it put me off the spaghetti bolognaise i had my baitbox i can tell you
its worse when the actions of the stupid affect others...like the idiot that dropped an untethered 4ft crowbar off scaffold on a chimney in steelworks...impaled some poor bloke beneath and that was him....visible from our workshop

Is it crazy to use a lighter on myself to trim body hair?

Just say it out loud a couple times and think about it...

Maybe this is a good safe place to discuss this , not with a lighter,

But there are safer commercial options available to clear the fields.
    Heck shaving beats waxing.......

This place is wonky the majority of the time.

But yes, there was a brief disruption while we reset the matrix.

    While waiting I made lemonade-

    IMG_20201129_193349.jpg

And made a fire to relax by-

    IMG_20201129_193505.jpg

So we are back! And I am good to go.

    Now, where were we exactly?...

Oh yeah, flame for trimming the hedge.

In the distant past, I thought it was a good idea to eliminate bag worms in a crab apple tree with a home made flame thrower.

I am picturing a similar result with the aforementioned plan.

    Noting with vivid memories-

That did not turn out well... o_O

Hmmmmmm. Okay, my take on the whole “manscaping” concept.

I’m an overweight man. I would prefer to resemble a grizzly bear, than a manatee.

    That is all.
