From now on after using a friends Chase Tone Secret Preamp....Echoplex EP3 Preamp Clone. Both early and late 70's circuits. Im always going to recommend it a s the 1st pedal everyone should have on their list.
The Kyle Chase.. Secret Preamp is an Exact copy using NOS parts as per the best of the EP3 circuits. Not all EP3's were created equally.
He also makes some killer Wahs and Fuzzes. I ordered the Preamp and the Gypsy Wah. Im happy with my Analogman Fuzz.
The Gypsy Wah uses many NOS parts and modern buffering.
