I have never owned an AC30 so I don’t have a memory of how the amp should sound other than on some Queen and Tom Petty recordings. Does anyone who has owned an AC30 have tips on Strymon iridium settings that sound like a typical example of an AC30 in clean and another setting for break up levels?

I have owned a Marshall 1/2 stack and use my Deluxe Reverb daily so those sounds are easy for me to get close to, the Vox sound is more of a mystery to me.

I’ve had some time with it and the manual along with some demonstration videos of each amp and cab combo, I think I’ve figured it out now. The iridium is deeper than it looks and each amp model changes the functions of the EQ buttons. The mid knob on the chime setting rolls of top end as well so keeping it full to the left makes it a bright chimey amp.

Yeah, that's the "cut" or tone cut knob on an ac30 top boost model.
