Iraq..... Really

Here's a thread for anyone (like me) daft enough to find themselves living in Iraq. I'm not expecting a massive response to be honest. If anybody else is based out here and wants to contribute to the thread, I suggest we keep the subject matter of any discussions open, but don't dwell on religion or politics too much. And keep an eye on the security aspect...
So, how many other guitarists are out there, especially tele lovers?

No gigging as such yet... but lots of whisky-fuelled jams in our little expat community over here. We are trying to nail a set list together, but there's a shortage of suitable venues. And if anyone knows of a decent vocalist and/or bass player in Erbil, let me know!
