Margie's new ring.jpg Bought Mrs. SS a new sparkly for her jewelry box. Ice Blue Topaz and Sterling Silver ring. Almost 6 carats. Not very expensive, but she loves it. She doesn't like diamonds, or gold. Go figure. I figure it's fair payment for having to put up with me all these years.

Sometimes a little shiny thing brightens up a person's world.
Felt nice to give it - and prob felt nice to receive.
SS household sounds lucky to me.
    Peace - Deeve

Diamonds are a con anyhow. Topaz, jade, opal, sapphire etc - much prettier, much more valuable, wear better and look original.

Mrs ss has done well for herself in choosing a husband. .

    Nice.

I don't know what inexpensive means, jewelry is not my wife's thing but I get the concept. The August total for flooring work, some other repairs and a new dual fuel range will be $10,000. I can't imagine what jewelry costs would be if she valued that quality like she does home and kitchen stuff!
