What is it? how does it work? The question is not asking is it real or not, do you have similar experiences
Do you ever just know things without knowing how or why and they turn out to be true?
Do you think about someone that you hadn't spoken to in a while and out of the blue the phone ring and it's the person that you were thinking about?

I am not interested in the how or why in this post, do you have experiences similar to those described

and for extra credit : what is synchronicity.
Do these topics play a part in music made by groups of musician

I feel that I have intuition. When I’m right.

My intuition on my Tele had been terrible until I came across this tip: If the 12th fret note is sharp, move the saddle back a little by turning the screw clockwise

    Yes. Yes and yes.

And followed by "you dont want to know"

And "synchronicity" as you probably mean it- cannot be proved or disproved IMO, by definition.
"Seemingly related events with no discernable association" or something like that...

    Yet...
    All related to insinuation. Sometimes.

    Well. Thats my story anyway.

    For the moment.

Intuition is 'hardwired' into the primal network of organs and the nervous system. So we all have it. The question is, to my mind, whether you've had access to your intuition educated out of you by our 'advanced' modern life that has given far more attention and status to the activities and 'ways of knowing' of the pre-frontal cortex over our more primal systems of sensing/knowing.

If you believe in things that you don't understand, then you suffer.

    Intuition aint the way.

Quantum mechanics tells us we live in a probabilistic universe. Anything that can happen will happen, or at least it has some probability of happening. Is intuition prescience, foreknowledge of what will happen or is it just a lucky guess?

IMO, it’s simpler than that. People who we think of as having intuition don’t. They’re more attuned than most to people and events. They pay more attention to what goes on around them. If there is something we recognize as intuition, it strikes me that it’s applied awareness.

Is Schrödinger’s cat alive or dead? Intuition won’t tell you. It’s both alive and dead until you open the box. But the longer you leave it in there the more likely it will be dead when you open the box. Schrodinger’s thought experiment sure is counterintuitive. What do you make of that?

I had a feeling I was going to come here to post my clever "I had a feeling you'd ask that" reply only to be beaten to the punch by a wiseguy like @blowtorch

Do I have intuition? Probably, but I doubt it.

    Yup, I'm an INFP.

Intuitives form opinions and make decisions without deliberately or consciously processing cues and information. That doesn't mean the cues and info aren't there. It just means that we absorb and digest them rather than catalogue and evaluate them. We arrive at conclusions unconsciously, not systematically.

BG beat me to Synchronicity in post 14.

Well, if I was to go back to school here in Arkansas, I’d get intuition. But if I go next door to a school in Oklahoma, I don’t.

It’s best to speak to the Admissions office. They know all that stuff.

I can usually read people pretty well. I just see and hear the things most people miss.
