Well for a start, I don't have a 'Steve Vai fixation' as you erroneously claim - he is just one of many of players who I rate highly. We're all entitled to our tastes and views and I personally think Autotune is a horrible effect however it's used and I doubt I'm alone in this view. I think our argument has derailed the thread, so how about we both put the safety catches on our Magnum .44s and call it quits?

It's ok, I only used 'fixated' because you'd mentioned Vai as many times as I had Autotune in this thread! [emoji6]

Letters From Iwo Jima. A modern masterpiece. Favourite film directed by Hitchcock?

Ennio Morricone or Hans Zimmer. It's a coin flip.

Do you gamble with your money?

No. I do not gamble as a rule. I've been known to occasionally do some minor (aka penny-ante) gambling to kill time. Like playing a couple of one dollar Keno games while I waited for my wife to get off work at the bar she worked at for a while. And I'll buy a raffle ticket to benefit a charity, but that's about it for me. I work hard for my money and don't like "throwing it away" chasing a pipe dream.

Do you have a regular exercise regimen?

I run three times a week - a couple of longish runs (10km ish) and then some speed intervals 5-6 x 1km.

Favourite song by an artist you dislike? I'm no fan of the stones, but Gimme Shelter is great.

The Beib's Love Yourself. Funny song!

When waiting in line at the grocery store, do you look at the tabloids or do you resist?

No, I gotta look, if just for the humor.

Who does the grocery shopping in your family?

My wife and I go together, every Thursday night. We refer to this outing as "Date Night", since we get to be together, and alone for awhile.

Do you tend to buy fresh foods, and items you have to prepare, or do you prefer "heat and eat" types of foods?

My wife is a great cook and baker so almost everything is from scratch using reasonably fresh items. Not so much from farmer's markets but still fresh vegetables and meats from the market. We had homemade cornbread, crock pot beans and pork chops last night. Yum.

Continuing the theme. What's your favorite food smell in the kitchen? I think roast Turkey because we usually only have it once a year.

I like the smell of anything cooking in the kitchen. Fried onions is always good.

I don't think anyone offered up autotune song they liked so I'm going to pop this here.

The Young Gods often sing in French. Do you have a favorite band that sings in a language you don't understand?

Ibanez is more in my price range, that is for sure, but PRS makes some smokin' hot guitars. That's a tough question........ Okay, I'll go Ibanez.

    Can you dance?

Assuming both = middle, then I'll go with that. My partscaster has a HB in the neck, so middle position provides a good blend between of neck darkness and bridge brightness.

    What is your favourite season?

Right now - early autumn, when there is a bite of cold in the air but the sun still shines, and the trees are a riot of colour. Wrapping up warm and walking on an autumn day is one of my favourite things to do.

Post the last photograph you took. Where were you and who/what is it of? This is mine, a mobile phone pic of my son playing on a vintage tractor at a place called Wimpole Hall near where we live.

Ok, here's a tricky one: Please explain to me the ending of the film 'Once upon a time in America' - you know, the last scene where James Woods vanishes. Has he been thrown into the refuse truck or what?
