'Good' is my favourite genre. I suppose I lean towards comedy or westerns?

Do you play the CAGED system?

Yes, but intuitively rather than through any great consideration of it being a system. Is there a guitarist who doesn't play the CAGED system? (That was a rhetorical question, not my actual question).

Have you ever seen a Hollywood remake that is better than the original? With so many remakes and reboots filling our cinemas, have any of them been an improvement?

Wizard of oz (1939) was an improvement on the 1913 one. Also oceans 11 with Clooney and Pitt is widely considered better than the original with Sinatra and dean Martin and Sammy Davis jr. (But only the first one. Not the sequels). Ben Hur 1959 is better than Cecil b de mills original as well. Not so much the recent one

What film would you like to see remade?

Probably something like 'The Battle of Britain', which was one of my favourite films when I was about eight years old. Would love to see a well choreographed, action packed, maybe Paul Greengrass-directed BoB film in iMax.

    What is your pet peeve?

Never been overly fond of cherries, but do love a good peach.

Are you good about keeping your guitars wiped down, or do you let them get pretty "funky and gunky"?

I try and wipe them down. (So I only have to change strings weekly).

Do you prefer a maple, rosewood or ebony fingerboard?

Maple feels better. Probably just mojo talking though.

    What is your favourite fruit?

    Strawberry.

If you own a Bass....have you ever boiled your bass strings to try and bring some tone back into them? (I did back in the day...helped for a short while)

The funk is in the gunk as Jamerson said.

Where do you set your tone control? Recently ive defaulted to about 7 out of 10. ( if I'm doing jazz it's five but that's rare). You?

My main is a strat. So there's more than one. It depends on amp and feel. Generally i like having a bit on tap if i can. And whether i want to fake a wah with the switch.
On my tele - there is no tone control.

Volume fully open on your guitar?

Yes. I adjust my attack with my right hand.

What is your plan for the future?

Hard to answer, because of horses for courses, but my Bourgeois cutaway slope D is pretty good.

Which do you dislike most, too-hot or too-cold weather?

You can always get warm. But you can't always cool down.

What's the biggest mid you ever did to a guitar?

Probably on 6 (I know you meant mod but I couldn't resist). I built a partscaster Strat out of all sorts of stuff I bought off E-Bay and I kind of like it. I put in Texas Specials and then it was kind of special.

Is there a city you would like to try living for a while if you could keep everything in place where you are?
