Moving!!!!:mad: Ya it's just down the hall to a bigger apartment, but is still a real pain. I hate the settling in part because my wife won't let me goof off until every last picture is hung.

    Billy Joel or Elton John?

Tough one. I'll go with Elton John. (His early 70's stuff was well written.)

(For your band) Acoustic Piano or a Fender Rhodes?

Neither ideally..... Distorted Hammond! But piano of those two.

Do you use a dedicated digital camera / DSLR or a smartphone camera for most pictures?

I just use my IPhone camera for pretty much everything. Even for reverb and Craigslist listings, my photos come out great when given the proper lighting.

eBay, Reverb, Amazon, or Sweetwater for new or demo gear?

First one. My mobile phone is so basic it doesn't even have a camera. Or web access. And that's the way I like it. 'Mobile' to me means as small as possible - just calls and texts are all I need. And rarely use the latter.

Post a photo or two galleryemrushtonlodge01.jpg galleryemrushtonlodge02.jpg of an unusual building in your area. Here's my contribution: The 'Triangular Lodge' at Rushton. Everything - walls, windows, gables, etc., is in threes!

Reverb for used stuff, but never bought anything new from any of those guys except maybe a strap or something… I buy any new or demo stuff from Prymaxe now, they have better sales than the the big guys and no tax or shipping.

    Hagstrom or tiesco?

    Hagstrom (Swede - mid 70's).

Did you ever own a Japanese made instrument. If so, which?

I have a high-end Tokai Les Paul clone, an LS150. It blows every American made guitar I've ever played out of the water in terms of build quality, materials and feel. And, unusually for a Japanese guitar, the electrics are top notch, too.

Back to the unusual building question from a few posts ago...

Hotel Liberty, Lake Garda, Northern Italy. Great hotel and food and fantastic location.

'Liberty' is one of my favourite Steve Vai tracks. What's one of yours?

For the love of God. Killer melodic lines. (I found his notes of this song interesting.)

When writing, do you ever sing a guitar solo prior to playing it?

Rarely. Although I "hear" melodies in my head.

Do you eat fast food? If yes, where?

    If horseradish counts, yes.

    What's your favorite movie genre?
