If I had to, one of my Strats.
It’s heavy-ish, has a maple neck (I prefer rosewood), it has a tremolo (I don’t love Strat tremolos), and I don’t love the pickups.
Same question, please.

I would sell my Tele, if I HAD to. I only have one electric and one acoustic at present, but it's a lot harder for me to find an acoustic I really want to hang onto than an electric. Lefty acoustic options are even fewer than electric.

Do you have a near future gear purchase in mind (or one you just made)?

I hope to find a nice, affordable ($2,000-ish) Martin D-18 or replica/tribute/variant/equivalent.
I have a trio acoustic project that I want that sound in.
It’s more vocal-centric than usual.
Same question please.

Why yes, yes I do. I am looking at an American Professional II Telecaster in the dark night finish. This will probably replace my current Baja.

Same question to anyone else that wants to anwser.

I found my equivalent D18.
It’s a great sounding Huss & Dalton TD-M.
It was more $, but it’s got an Adirondack Top.
A first for me!

Sorry for derail.

I am looking for another electric guitar, either a Strat (likely MIJ) or a Les Paul Jr or Special (I know, quite different from each other).

Are you happy with your current amplifier situation?

I’m totally happy with my amp situation.
I am very casually looking for a medium power tube amp, for old time’s sake.
Same question please.

Since I'm strictly a bedroom player these days, I am happy with my amp situation.

My current go to is a Vox 'Lil Night Train powering a Celestion Greenback.

Same question.

I’m happy with my setup, a Boss Katana 50. I’ll never be famous, rich for playing guitar or in a band. All that doesn’t mater to me, what does matter to me is that it puts a smile on my face every time I plug into that amp.

Everything I’ve got is vox-voiced at the moment, aside from some solid state bass stuff and a few low wattage solid state amps I built for fun. I’d love to have a HiWatt and a JC-120 in my arsenal, but I’m not in any rush to get there either.

what’s the most temperamental piece of gear you own?

My old avatar guitar, lately.
It cuts out intermittently.
I’m going to replace the volume control/phase switch.

Same question please.

I'd say my acoustic, but I have a feeling it's because I overhumidified it when I moved from Colorado (very dry all year round) to North Carolina (not so much) in July. I took it to a local shop for a once-over and expect it will be right as rain when I get it back in a few days.

What do you do when you need some time alone?

I just shut the door on my bedroom, and chill when I need to be alone.
I also constantly drive to far flung gigs.
I have/get plenty of alone time.
Would you relocate for a “perfect” job?
