I'm not sure if this will be of interest to anyone other than me, but I found this website that tries to locate the exact spot famous album covers, or just famous photos in general were taken. As the name suggests, there's a heavy NYC leaning.

I actually found it whilst looking to see where the pub on the cover of Roy Buchanan's Loading Zone is, it's a place called Pete's Tavern in NYC.

Here's a really interesting one about Dylan's Blonde on Blonde:

Best viewed on a PC screen, I find the photos are too small to be seen well on a mobile phone screen.

I love that site. I used to work in Greenwich Village and I often passed the Neil Young "After The Gold Rush" site when I got my lunch. I was excited when I learned about that.

I'm from Milton Keynes in England which is famous for a few things but the number one thing is roundabouts, so I'm a bit of a roundabout enthusiast, not so enthusiastic over what going round hundreds of roundabouts a day does to car tyres though!

Are the plastic cows still there?

Any sports motorcyclist will tell you roundabouts are essential for getting rid of the otherwise not worn "chicken strips" on his tyres and for scrubbing in knee sliders...

The concrete cows! Yep, still there!

Concrete cows and roundabouts, maybe that's a more accurate description of what Milton Keynes is known for!

I walked that cross walk. Abbey Road is quite a busy street. Hundreds of tourists crossing there all day long. So many holding up traffic while they pose for pictures, devoid of common courtesy and completely oblivious to the drivers just trying to get to their destinations.
