One of the recent twanger challenges hooked me on Industrial Rock. Here's one to have a go with:

If you're not sure what to do with it, go to an online youtube to mp3 converter and save the file as an mp3 to your local machine. Then just drag and drop the mp3 into your DAW. Enjoy!

Thanks for an interesting track @MrClint I used it as an opportunity to try out some weird settings on my DigiTech RP-350 and to try out my Carvin Bolt kit since I just rewired it this weekend.

I did it in 4 parts. The RP-350 effects models used were the Gonkulator and Octaver, Synth Voice, Step Filter and IPS Harmonizer. I used the Echoplex model for the delay on the last 3 tracks.

@bgmacaw, interesting take. Sort of like Skynet calling the terminators into action!

Here's my take in case someone missed it:

Very cool, @estreet! It sounds like HAL has taken a few EMP shots to his central processing unit. Had me laughing out loud.

@NWinther, you unleashed the hell hounds on that one. Very nice go at it! Enjoyed it very much.

BTW, the Zoom Multi-stomp is on my GAS list. A lot of bang for the buck with that unit. It's basically a full-fledged fly rig in a single pedal.

@udoering, converting youtube videos to mp3 is a good trick to know.
    1. Go to an online converter such as: https://ytmp3.cc/
    2. Paste the link of the youtube video into the converter
    3. Convert and download the mp3. This converter pops a junk tab, just close it.
    4. Drag and drop the mp3 into your DAW.

@knh555 , very nice! I really liked the multi-track and panning effect. Nice riffs through out.

@flatout9 , You're doing your own thing over there. Good stuff!

@udoering , I did my best. There are a lot of great backing tracks on youtube, so hopefully you can tap into the conversion process at some point.

I'm surprised more people haven't done this as it was good fun. I was going to post a BT today but a dep gig that was I was supposed to be doing tomorrow got moved to today and I had to learn a bunch of songs by tonight. I see another one has appeared now (Acoustic in G) but if people want/have time for yet another one I can probably post one tomorrow.
