Hello I’m looking at getting a Dimarzio HB for the bridge. It asks about “F spacing”? I have no clue what that is referring to. The guitar Is a cheap indo squier strat from 2004. Any help? Thank you.

They are talking about the spacing of the poles on the pickup. F spacing is for Fender pickup spacing. Measure the center to center of the poles from one side to the other side of the pickup in millimeters.

A: F-spacing refers to the widest spacings on full-sized humbucking pickups. For correct string alignment and a balanced output, F-spaced humbuckers should be used in the bridge position on guitars with string spacing at the bridge of 2.1″ or 53mm (or greater).
