Geez, no play on the Indiana club in a while!
Any of you catch the Marty Stuart show last night at Hi-Fi in Indy? What a show!
all you Indy guys, have you been to this shop in Noblesville?
next time I'm down that way, I'm stopping in
Never even heard of the place before your post. Looks interesting. Thanks.
Don't know a lot about them but I believe Fender was after them a few years ago claiming infringement on improvements or something.
Yep, been in a few times. The owner (Ken? Kevin?) is friendly and relaxed, knows his stuff. I haven't bought anything there (or anywhere else, in awhile) but he's got a nice assortment of guitars, mostly well-played but good sounding. He also hosts a monthly jam that attracts an acoustic/bluegrass bunch.
Thanks for the info, Dave. I'll have to stop there sometime when I'm "up north".
Funny, last night the bass player in our acoustic band said he had been at the Friday night Jam at 'Center Stage'. He knows the place well and has known the owner since they were kids.
New Albany here!
Interesting guitar you've got there!
Thanks so much! it's my number one, built it a couple years ago. Here's a link to the build if'n you're interested
Wow! That's beautiful! Very nice work and attention to detail. Goes without saying, but, you should be very proud of that!
We have some talented folks here in Indiana!
Thanks so much, bud!!!! I really appreciate it! I love and play the guitar often. And heck yeah, many TALENTED and AUTHENTIC FOLKS here in Indiana, for damn sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again for the kind words and checking out the build! Here's another, a tele I built. Enjoy brother!!! http://www.tdpri.com/threads/got-her-done.696444/
Well now! Love the pine guitar, it's uniquely different....but the walnut Tele is too cool! Elegant to say the least. They're both remarkable. Keep up the good work!
Thanks brother! Much appreciated!!!
First time checking-in here in quite a while. I’m in Bloomington. Any others from the area?
