I do agree that I don't care for the dark inlays on maple. Light inlays on a dark colored fret board would be preferable.

OMG, it's different than what I grew up with!

Quick, burn 'em all so I can avoid that sneaky cognitive dissonance.

    Looks just fine....but revolutionary?? How?

I guess it's revolutionary because they say it is.....that's the only necessary criteria it would seem.

If that's supposed to be revolutionary then maybe the revolution should have been televised.....

Does it come with skinny jeans and matching fedora? I reckon you’ll also need a fade and a way too long beard.

I'd agree that there's nothing hipster about the design, but the target demographic is totally hipster.

In the video it looks like its routed for 3 pickups and a hum in the neck - so pickup configs could possibly change if they continue.

I had a chance to play one of these, and by play I mean noodle around for a bit, and a couple of things stand out. Super comfortable to play. Offset body gives it good balance. Body is smaller than a tele and smaller that most offsets. Light <under 7 lbs> Nice neck - rounder carve than a standard tele and not as big as say a 52 style neck. Sounds good.

I suspect the Blonde finish and standard tele pickups are just a nod to the standard guitar buying public.
