He did warn me it’s a ‘front of chain only’ beast. No low z into it! The Lotus was not so finicky but the British Octah just had that weird aggressive and magic complexity thing. Part of the Moollon high price is that there are only 4 employees and they hand make them. They even hand wind the transformers etc to meet the original component spec, blessed by Buddhist monks blah blah. I am new to the whole fuzz world but this one has that weird Hendrix, Doyle, Eric ‘about to explode’ thing that’s really hard for me to describe. I always say this, but, when I get home I will make a demo of this pedal, if only because it’s too hard for me to describe.. BTW I tried out a few other Moollon pedals while I was there. The Sol Fuzz was really cool, their distortion is great and they make a spot on Shin-ei Uni Vibe pedal that is superb (but ridiculously expensive). Just killer brand of pedals though! If you see one please check it out!
