January 1972. I was 10 1/2 years old and watched it live on TV. I'll never forget that play for as long as I live. Franco Harris was my football hero.

I remember these days but only vaguely. Dad owned the TV and all choices of content from the six channels we could get. Sunday was his TV. A thought the Steelers were awesome as a kid.

These days I can still get excited for a good game. Go Chiefs!

My boy did 3 years of Pop Warner (wide receiver). Undefeated last year and went to playoffs. We're in NY, but the Chiefs are his team.

I vaguely remember it but apparently the NFL has blocked the video

My dad nearly broke through the floor jumping up and down when Franco scored. He was a huge Steelers fan.

Dang! I just watched it right before posting. Boy, they won't let you do anything. I guess I need to take a knee.

I saw that previously. If you go through all the angles it seems very apparent that the officials made the right call. The only real question was whether the ball hit Frenchy Fuqua after Tatum slammed into him and the ball at nearly the same instant. In today’s terms I doubt that there is indisputable evidence that it did.

As a long time Redskins fan, I have to go with this play. Memories are all we Redskins fans have in the era of Danny Snyder - the NFL's worst owner.
