yes I suppose understated elegance was really stretching the point:rolleyes: for decades I thought telles were ugly,

As a 57 year old who is starting to get to grips with some chords, I tend not to get too involved with the aesthetics of guitars. I've seen hundreds and hundreds of gigs down the years and the thing that strikes me is that most (not all, obviously) guitarists tend to use Fender, Gibson and PRS models and that's presumably based on ergonomics and sound.

So, aside from those who like the pointy headstock brands and/or neon colour schemes (and I'm not inferring that is a bad thing) most seem to play equipment that has a traditional shape and non-controversial colours - though the hardware and electronics might be highly customised.

What was once hot became rubbish which became a treasure to sell on CL.

Is there anything metal about whales? This shape seems confounding.

The first thing I thought of when seeing that case was of a mermaid guitar.
Not a whale guitar. I'd much play with a mermaid than on a whale.

While I'm not sure about the headstock, I really do like the look of that whale tail.
