...but I never forget.
Some people say it's the same thing.
What's your take?
Not the same thing. How can one forget?
I don't know, but that is the saying, "forgive and forget"
To me it's different. Holding a grudge implies you'll get even, remain angry. Not forgetting is just that, you won't get fooled again but have moved on. Let go of the anger.
It’s all small stuff
I can’t help you here...
I often forgive, but rarely forget.
Just because you forgive a m'er f'er doesn't mean you have to play dumb and be their doormat next time.
I forget all the time.
Yeah but are you keeping score?

Time wounds all heels
That's not forgiving, that's just moving on.
George does Hank (Snow)
Holding a grudge implies whatever slight has been committed against you having some sort of active effect on your existence. Not forgetting simply implies wisdom gleaned.
I won't wear an albatross around my neck so I let it all go the best I can.
Someone famous once said "Trust, but verify."
No grude, but some people need to be kept in check.
Remembering is more measured than a grudge.
Had a long reply but backspaced. Basically, it took years but I finally am done trying to let things go. Not bitter. No grudge. But I'm done and just leave me alone, and I mean completely alone.
Yeah, that sums it up.
There are people I don’t like for good reason but I don’t carry around grudges. If someone who’s wronged me needs help, he can get it elsewhere but I don’t wear my distaste on my sleeve.
