Me neither.

I'm on the fence with the Biles dilemma. Why all of a sudden? Her choice.

I heard she was suffering from a case of the 'Twisties" which is where you lose track of yourself spacially in the middle of your flip/spin/turn whatever it's called.

You don't really want to do what she does and land flat on your face or on the top of your head.

I know I'm not the only one completely broken up that the women's soccer team won't win gold this year. Such a tragedy for those fine representatives of our country.

I think I would like to go to some track meets, when our precautions can be eased a bit. When whatever it is, comes through the TV screen, you've sort of lost me right there. It isn't the fault of the Olympics per se. It is the sense that everything is virtual. Cutting the lawn is at least real, and even cutting the lawn beats virtual anything.

I went kayaking on the Nantahala yesterday, and while the river is fairly easy and nobody was doing any Olympic quality paddling out there, the water was very cold when the wave slapped you in the face. It isn't a simulation. There's stuff out there to be found - you've just got to find it.
