Start date Mar 5th to Sept 11th, build time 90 days from start regardless of beginning date. Build what youve been wanting to,follow your heart :D

I do think it would be great to have a basic time frame 5 w's and h....It's more important for there to be some accountability than there is a need for a prize, etc. Competition is only ONE form of accountability. But basic information and things that bonmd people together like a logo and free t-shirts.

I don't know if giving away a free shirt is against forum rules though. COuld be a coffee mug or anything simple. Even a patch. Justg some ideas to throw out there.

You're missing the point. It's not a competition or a contest and as John mentioned would not be allowed. It's to challenge yourself. Prizes would shut it down in a heartbeat no matter how small.

I think I will be in too! I already wanted to do a build which I need/want to finish before half september. So the end date is perfect! I'm a little worried about the total timeframe because I effectively can only work on the weekends so I hope its allowed I do some basic prepwork before march.

It will be something out of the ordinary :)

I think 90 working days is sufficient :)

Whenever you challenge yourself the prize is always the satisfaction of completing it and of course the end product of your challenge!

Thanks for clarification, Dave. I gotz some ideaz that I'm going to have to bounce around in my head for what I choose to do for this particular exercise. Some of them are down-right scary. LOL

No at all, I was! Given it's age, it's probably Brazilian or Cuban. Someday I'll research it.

And it was a bar top, so it's probably marinated in old whiskey and stale beer. Perfect for guitars!

The prize is you get a guitar when you're done. That's good enough for me!

It's the satisfaction of mutual support and doing awesome things literally all around the world!

I wonder what would happen if you mixed epoxy and Kraft Dinner™ cheese packets?
