Howdy there, my fellow TDPRI friends!!! I've been away for a little while due to computer issues (the hard drive got fried - so I had to have a new one installed) but I'm back now!! Unfortunately, the hard drive that I have now is only a 500GB hard drive instead of the 1TB (terabyte) drive that was in the computer. I may change it out later and do the old reinstall bit again down the road (actually a friend from my parents' church did the Windows 10 reinstall for me).

Needless to say, I've missed ya'll!!! It feels good to be back!!!

(And, yes, I did hear the news about Glen Campbell's passing. So sad to lose someone so talented....:( Alzheimer's sucks! :( My condolences to his family).

Hey buddy, glad you got back in the saddle, it's coming up on round up time on the TDPRI annual cattle drive, and we need all the help we can get to get the little doggies in before winter! Sometimes you can pickup external drives really cheap, they can be used for storage and keep your main drive freed up for important stuff. I have a 2TB main drive, but still have my old trusty 500gb external drive that has a lot of to me invaluable "junk" on it!

My first computer in 1995 had a huge hard drive of 540 Megabytes!

Eighteen days might not seem like a long time for regular folks, but to TDPRI members, that's an eternity to be without the Bad Dog Cafe.

Welcome back, tony. I'd try to catch you up on what you might have miss while you were down, but I'd probably get it all wrong.

Thanks, fellas, for the welcome back. I've actually got two external hard drives - a 1TB and a 4TB - strangely, though, Windows isn't recognizing the 1TB drive. That ain't a big deal, though....I'm using my 4TB drive for all the important stuff I keep. :)

    Very relieved to hear that.

I was beginning to worry, your health was getting the best of you.

    Welcome back!

Thanks, Boris. That's very kind of you. Thankfully, though, it wasn't health issues that kept me away but computer issues (I'm one of those people who has a TON of bookmarks and I keep them - or try to keep them - opened in a certain order and when the internal hard drive on the computer started going downhill, it wouldn't even let me do that.

(BTW, I know that keeping a lot of tabs open probably isn't the best idea out there but - it's how I prefer to surf the 'net since I have a lot of stuff I like).

My health is still an issue - but - I don't have to go back to Atlanta, GA until next December - unlike the usual one-year trip.

Anyway, thanks for the welcome back, ya'll. It feels good to be among my guitar "family". :)
