I got a plan for that too
My whole livelihood is my stupid phone
I bet you hate read-receipt emails.
What happens if you ignore texts while using a music stand on stage?
I ignore text all the time , mostly because i have no use for a cell phone to be strapped my hiny 24 /7, I have no use for one except to fly my drone.
Just wait until you need something and someone ignores your text.
Do unto others as you'd have karma do to you.
Someone didn't answer my call today and they're getting some extra work tomorrow. Don't blow off the boss.
What really pisses me off is phone tag: people calling and letting it ring just twice then hanging up.
I don't know, they must expect you to have your phone near you at all times, not in another room.
Haha.... This thread is sooooo 'old man' attitude.
Sorry, gotta go n di some txting, DMing, FBing, snapping n instaing.
If things get heated in a post I just withdraw from it and say no more. Like the recent one on D#.
I can only say so much and then it's time to move on.
I live my life that way also.
I'm the worst.
I'll ignore texts while wearing cargo shorts.
I have read texts and composed texts....while NOT wearing pants.
I rarely read texts unless I happen to hear the phone chime when it comes in. Since my cell phone is in my belt holster, and I rarely wear pants around the house, that doesn't happen often. Usually, when it does happen, I find there are texts from a few weeks ago that I haven't read. Sometimes I read them, but rarely answer them.
I don't text - how cool is that ?
I never do that, and not thrilled about friends who do. ( not that I can do anything about that)
Not that I dont text buddies for fun, I do,
but most of my texts are various and constant, exchanges with musician friends about gigs ( details/availabilty/info)
so a quick response is needed...
So it doesn't help me, when someone doesn't respond just because they dont feel like it.
( staying on top of stuff is work, and good communication is key- but not everyone is like that)
I just delete all messages every sunday afternoon
Is like a rithual. If not readed, is lost.
If you are in a hurry, call me, don't text me
Ever tried a phone call?
I ignore texts I receive at work and then forget all about them. Then people call and ask me why I ignored their text and I ask what they're doing texting me when I'm at work.
yep. TDPRI is turning into boomer-guy nursing home
I don't read > 90% of my work emails. People tend to spam.
And I never pick up the phone if I don't recognize the number.
I don't read texts unless I am forewarned and expecting it. As to sending texts? Not for me. I doubt I have sent ten texts since I've owned a cell phone. The only time I have was if I was answering a yes or no to an expected text that required a yes or no answer. Not all technology improves communication.
