Fantasy question : As the title says, whose guitar would you love to hold in your hot little hands and get to play as long as you would like? I think for me it would be Page's number 1 Les Paul and Keef's Micawber Tele. How about you?

    Good question!

I would want/like to play Jimmy Pages guitar with all the switches and out of phase functionality etc as well...PLUS him there to show me how he drives it...

Hmm, maybe Jimi Hendrix's Strat as well. Though of course now that means I would also need their amp as well. What would the point be without the matching amp...

Jimmy Pages LP through a 15w Fender frontman probably isn't the same experience! :)

    Fun fantasy.

    Warren Haynes' 335.

    2nd would be Santana's Yammy SG2000.

Easy. I'm interested in electrics more as technology than as instruments, so Ry Cooder's coodercaster. - Valco bridge pickup, gold foil neck pickup. He is master of tone, so I want to know what likes so much about it.

In acoustics, John Williams' Smallman, again out of tonal curiosity.

Hendrix Woodstock Strat, which is why I bought a white '68 reissue, and play it left handed and upside down....

Well, I play lefty anyhow, but I have always been fascinated by his white '68...
