(Polite reminders to keep this free of politics and overt naughty bits.)

    Me, I'd
    1) Regret that I didn't get my will rewritten
    2) Call my sister and best friends to say bye
    3) Pull up the drawbridge and enjoy what healthy time I got left with my kids, dog, and music, in that order, playing through all my amps at once
    4) Eat really big meals before the zombies come to pick our cupboards' bones. Mondo lasagna, garlic-bomb chili, and, if such a thing exists in late winter, a really, really good watermelon
    5) Put sugar in my coffee and light up a Lucky
    6) Nap and procrastinate, of course....

    You?

I just heard on NPR that Coronavirus victims have now been found in every nation on Earth.

Being the big science fiction fan that I am; I really didn't to hear the news.

    I'll just hug family members.

I’d max out my credit card, and buy EVERY piece of dream gear I’ve ever wanted. Then, I’d have a rockin’ quarantine.
    Stuff like:
    Robin Trower signature Strat
    Hand wired Princeton
    R9 Lester
And a BB Telecaster, just to club looters over the head with, ala Keef

Oh, and partake in some legal hooch, here in Illinois. The D.O.T. currently frowns on its use:cool:

There have been plagues and pandemics before and they didn’t end humanity. This one won’t either. That’s not saying we shouldn’t be concerned. That’s not saying we should ignore the impact of a worldwide pandemic. But this is not how humanity will end.

It's flu. A particularly virulent strain of flu, but flu nevertheless.

I wouldn't be looking for four horsemen riding past just yet

It's 10 times more deadly than normal flu.

It kills about 1% of those infected. That means if it spreads unchecked, it kills 70 million people.

I remember it fizzled out. (Googles...) Since 2013 there have been 1,568 confirmed human cases and 616 deaths worldwide from the H7N9 strain of avian flu, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

Last I heard, there were over 78,000 Covid-19 cases just in China. I think that's more than 1,568.

Not sayin' this would be humanity's end, or even my end.

Just wanna make sure I make the most of things, just in case.

I mean, I'd still fold the laundry and avoid telling my boss to go to hell....

I didn't know we had our own virologist here.

It's a respiratory disease with flu like symptoms. Like SARS and MERS.

    I'm still not panicking :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
