Alright, got one for you guys. Here is the scenario. In the blink of an eye, there were no more Fender Telecasters. What would you choose to take the place of this most identifiable, historic guitar.

WHAT WOULD YOU OWN AND PLAY? Such a thought huh......

    Probably a casino, or a 335. Maybe a strat.

If no fender at all a gibson Les Paul if fender is possible but no tele then a strat those are the iconic ones

I’d probably play an SG or a Firebird

A strat if fenders other than teles are allowed

What does the switch behind the bridge do?

I’ve seen gretsch guitars with two switches on each side behind the bridge in odd places and have no clue what they do/are

How do we know something like this has not already happened? It was a great guitar, but in the blink of an eye it was gone, and now we play Telecasters instead.

I favour the mighty Theorbo. Stick a couple of Duncans in it, somewhere, and rock...

She also said it was a 'country instrument'!
