If the Cowsills were still together, they could have opened for VanHalen at their last show!

Man DLR, saw what you will, he knows how to front Van Halen. I found this entertaining all the way around.

THe Cowsills had some great vocals. TO me they were Carpenters like. It is enough happy to set you on edge, then let Van Halen do their work. Like a sour & sweet.

Anyway 30 minutes of Cowsills would do the trick, but no more.

Well I like Junior Brown and I like Pink Floyd but I really doubt that would make a very good concert lineup. Too dissimilar.

Not sure I get the comparison, but DLR seems like an intolerable person to be around for more than about two minutes

Hendrix was relatively unknown at the time, and I really don't know what that second thing was...

Junior Brown would be exactly the choice I would make to open for Floyd.

Must’ve sucked to be the Monkees!

Pink Floyd is just who I would chose to open for Junior Brown! People would need that good-time bouncy rootsy stuff after all that downer depressing slow-guitar crap.

Quite the opposite. The teeny boppers were there to see the Monkees, and they didn't like Jimi. He dropped out of the tour after 7 shows

I think Hendrix was booed off stage and that ended that!
