there are a lot of us in the na na na nanan na section...
If life is like "Hey Jude", then it's too long and too repetitive.
That reminds me of what a friend of mine said to me when I asked him how his relationship was going with his girlfriend. He said it was like halfway through a Journey song.
"The lovin', touchin' and squeezin' is nearly over and we're rapidly approaching the na na phase."
I just entered the na na na nanan na section of life last week. Seriously.
Its all downhill from here.
Then I'm already on the 'B' side.
If life is Hey Jude…I’d like to skip to the next, please.
Like my barbequing apron asks: "What if the hokey-pokey really is what it's all about???"
The B side of "Hey Jude" was "Revolution"!
If life is like Hey Jude, then I'll never make it past kindergarten... since it was on the radio that year and that's what the song always takes me back to (along with Cecilia by Simon and Garfunkel).
still a lot of goodness left when that na na na kicks in: let 'er buck
proof that literalism CAN be creative and bring the funny.
If life is that song then it makes sense that I’m so annoyed.
It's, "Hey Dude" now.
And then there's the bunch that are in the Sha Na Na section.
I'm ok with making a bad song better. It is what life is all about.
Don't be dead!
Wishing to get back to where I once belonged?
If like is the song Hey Jude . . . Then not enough of us are letting it into our hearts . . . . and certainly not making it better.
Do we all get to change our names to make them sound better?
