Probably my Les Lius clone. I'm not giving up my Klon clone...until I can afford a real Klon.

Keep my current OD pedals and buy a MIM Tele with the KOT funds.

I have been on the waiting list since 2019 and my current placeholder is a Zvex box of rock. I mostly use the overdrive on my amp anyway. I did own a KOT at one point and compared to my amp’s (super sonic 100) burn channel, I actually preferred the amp. I still would like a KOT because it is a great OD pedal and those are always nice.

I take a different approach with my KoT and use it as a 3 stage gain device for rhythm.

It allows me to get 3 great stages of gain with only a slight increase in volume so I can play everything from outright hair metal to grunge without blasting people out of the room.

I guess you could say I use it more like an attenuater than a solo boost pedal. Then I step on the TS9 for the solo boost, if needed.

Mine will be up for sale shortly because I'm just not gigging much or playing in situations where I can use it.

I've never had the pleasure of playing through a KOT. I'm interested. I may pickup a clone to see if I like the pedal.
