I felt the EXACT same way after seeing the movie. Kinda uneasy or uncomfortable. Really liked the movie though. I'd say a movie does it's job if it effects you in emotionally in any way. Would watch it again one day!

Marriage Story is great. Not easy but great.

This article really nails down The Joker ...

Midsommar is not Oscar worthy IMNSHO, but it is a fresh take on horror and between it and Little Women, Florence Pugh is already a star.

    Man did autocorrect hit hard.

Basically what I was saying is that I don’t like award shows for the very well paid as they are redundant.

I've not seen Joker yet, but I hope it wins best picture and a ton of other awards, just to piss off the social justice warriors.

I thought Joker was great, but awards? They are all about glitz, something I don't really care for. It's a movie move along.

Joaquin’s performance deserves such credit. He bares his soul in terrific detail as he descends into madness and you swear he really is the Joker. I saw it with my teenage daughter surrounded by a mob of adolescents and the faces on those kids leaving the cinema was priceless!

Agreed. I generally do not like horror movies, especially those that are gruesome, but Midsommar somehow hit the right nerve with me. Not sure how Ari Aster pulled it off, but he somehow was able to blend horror with melodrama with a fish-out-of-water comedy with a break up movie with a stoner film. His first film Hereditary was equally brilliant and I can't wait to see what he does next.

Joker is an okay movie, very watchable. Without Phoenix not a good movie.
1917 the best movie I’ve seen this year, camera work and scenery incredible. Great story too. Midway great movie better then Joker.
