"If only I could possibly have known" is best because it's smart to use as many words as possible. How others could have possibly been ignorant of this is beyond anything I possibly could have or would have known, personally.

I've never been to Arkansas, but I lived eight years (through elementary school) in a remote northern California coastal valley. Arkansas speech patterns and accents are music to me.

    Three issues:

I fear that the people on this forum where their primary or "native" language is not english might be very hesitant to post because of the grammar police.

Also, we are living during a time where email and texting is evolving languages and vocabulary much faster than ever in history.

Thirdly, auto spellcheck is creating unwanted havoc in our written communications.

it seems like enforcing the rules of grammar is just one more way to squelch the voice of truth... raw, unfiltered, and true.

I grew up in Appalachia and now I live in Arkansas. If I posted the way that I often speak in informal situations, the grammar police would be apoplectic. :D

All three sound fine to me. My pet peeve is people that say "I could care less", when they should be saying "I couldn't care less".

    One correction:

Give me gramatical liberties, or give me death.

My proposal to Google Voice is whenever you say either of those words, just spell it "thair". Make it a universal word so that whatever context it's in will be correct. Also if you say "your" or "you're", spell it "yoar", and again it would be proper in whatever context it was in.

Of course this would greatly upset the basement-dwelling typo cops, that only live to point out when people make a mistake.

Use the proper pronoun! Do not use a comma to demarcate restrictive clauses! Strive to create parallel structures!

    Yes, Sister!
