Looks great.

I just take a Duncan Hines box Spice Cake and add 3x more spices to it.

I'm so excited, when we pull it out of the oven, we forget to make icing or if icing is on hand, we don't bother to apply it. Just eat the cake already.

One of my old specialties that I haven't made for years is Carrot cake with a cream cheese frosting. I just might have to dig up the ol recipe and bake one this weekend.... thanks for the inspiration!

The previous horse cake was for my sister-in-law, who loves horses… this one was for my son who loves classic movies…

Next step fresh peach pies. My neighbor brought me a bag of Texas Peaches from Mexia Texas Lightsey Orchards. We use to always pick up peaches on our Hill Country rides. If I can find the recipe, I am going to give it a try. Worse case it may end up a cobbler.

Back then making a black face minstrel cake was OK I guess......
