Just wanted to see if any of the experts here would be able to help identify this bridge pickup? Someone told me it could be a Texas special or custom shop 52 but I can’t seem to find an exact match online. It’s waxed.

I found it at a scrap yard in a box for a Seymour Duncan metal (genre) kind of pickup, mounted in a standard brass saddle fender ‘Pat pend’ bridge, and some knobs. Got it for like $5 AUD so not too concerned.

Thanks!

Ah okay, that does look very similar. Pics of fender ‘58 pickups seem to have black marker on the bottom not white, so it could be something like that. For some reason I thought it said 52 but it definitely looks like 58. It came with a bridge with brass saddles so I think that threw me off as well.
Getting closer, thanks!
