If you really want us to evaluate the color you should take a few pictures outside in daylight. Perhaps a few in the sun and a few in the shadow or when it's cloudy.
Artificial light combined with the color correction in cameras can shift the color any direction. So it's impossible to say exactly what it is. I see something that looks like LPB but has an artificial light hue over it.....

100% Agree. I have an Lake Placid Blue Tele and a Daphne Blue one. Depending on lighting conditions they look like all kinds of different shades of blue and green.

I have no idea what you have, but I have a feeling that pickup is not original. The ones from that period have cardboard on the bottom and the date written in marker.

It is a unusual colour running it through photoshop taking a sample
the code is Pantone 542 C which describes it as Carolina Blue
a monitor will never be totally accurate but it looks really close to aged Daphne

Hi. I took many pictures in natural light. Any clues? Thanks!

As you mentioned, it does not appear to be a metallic finish. I'm gonna say Taos Blue.

Possibly originally a natural finish, then painted later? Natural was available on the Thinline in 1968, not sure about the standard models. Also, it is hard to tell from the pictures, but that doesn't look like ash. I believe all of the opaque custom colors were made from poplar or Alder. Could also be a trade show special, they pop up from time to time. An odd bird for sure.
