So I have this DIY relic Telecaster that I picked up secondhand in a shop last year and would love some help identifying the pickups. The pickups are unmarked.

Some photos are attached. Ohm resistance measures at:
Neck 6.16
Bridge 7.4

The pickup wires are:
Bridge ground - Black Bridge hot - White
Neck ground - Red Neck hot - Red (ignore the extenders that are different colors)

The bobbin tape is glossy black plasticey tape, perhaps electrical tape.

Compared to other Telecaster pickups, these pickups have a sound that is less twang/sparkle, more muscle and beef. Maybe less high end overall. Could they be Broadcaster/Nocaster style?

I don't think so. Those models use magnetic pole pieces. These look like typical import economy pickups to me.

So is the ceramic magnet the difference maker in why these sound so different than other Tele pickups?
