I believe that's an American Deluxe Telecaster. A handsome one.

    Ditto. American Deluxe.

That extra route is because there's a Nashville version as well. I have the 1998 Nashville version. Great guitar.

The sticker on the body indicates Deluxe. That'd be my guess.

I think it's a Deluxe too, but send the serial number to Fender and see what they say.

No need to guess; it's an American Deluxe Tele from January 2015 - so you've got the compound radius (9.5"-14") and N3 pickups. What you don't have is the Fender-logo molded case it should have come with; that looks like a generic case from GC or someplace like that.

Fender has been putting that extra rout for the Nashville middle pickup since the beginning of the American Deluxes in 1998, but they haven't made a production Nashville version since the very first year they were made (roughly March/April 1998-early 1999). I've never found a certain date for when they moved from the Nashville version to the 2-pickup version - it could be any time between January and July 1999 - so your 1998 Nashville version is a fairly rare bird to begin with, and depending on the color (in particular the trans purple) could be very rare.

Although there are some very knowledgeable people here, if you really want to know anything about your instruments just contact the manufacturer!

Just contact Fender Customer support with the s/n and you'll get all the info. you're looking for.

Yes, That’s an American Deluxe Tele. I have one in Candy Apple Red. Congrats and enjoy! They are great guitars.

Thanks everyone. I got a lucky deal on and so far love it. It is the first USA Tele that I have ever had.

I hit Fender up today and they responded to me, pretty quick I must say.

    Here is what they said.

Your new instrument is an Aged Cherry Burst American Deluxe Telecaster made on February 2 of 2015 in Corona, California.
