Picked up this Squire Bullet 1 neck a while back. Oddly, there is no country of origin and no sign whatsoever that a prior artist scraped the "Made in XXX" off. Finish over the decal is shiny and untouched.

Tuner holes fit Gotoh, like the old Fender Japan Gotohs. I put new Gotohs on it.

I'm thinking it might be MIK just on gut feel and experience with Korean guitars.

Any suggestions on where this may have originated? It's a decent neck.

Those are better than decent, it looks early 80's , good chance it's made in Japan, most of those Tele headstock Bullets where.... cept the ones with Fender Logo which were USA. Congrats on a nice find.

By the way, Just beyond the q in Squier was where they had "made in Japan" in tiny tiny print.... check there to see if it may have been sanded off... some folks will do that.
