She could howl part of her name, Ruuu-ruuuuby!
"Don't call that dog Lifesaver, call him [deleted]."
I brought home a new best girl a year ago. She moved right in. We named her Tiberias. The breeder began using her name the day we picked her out and she knew her name when she came home. Pick a name you’ll love as much as the puppy and ask the breeder to start using it. There’s nothing like a warm puppy. Enjoy. Give her a good life.
Ah then that settles it - Shirley! (Bassey)
She is adorable and I’d go with Sophie. An elegant name got an elegant pup
My wife says she looks like a Millie.
Dang it, I never get here soon enough…
Grr, I came in here to say "Shirley Basset" and see I've been beaten to the punch.
I hear you, I thought rather Bessie, but what do we know, we’re not very imaginative, we’ve got a Candy and a Chewy-Chui.
Moon. She has a full moon on her forehead.
She’s gorgeous. Be good to her.
Her cute wrinkly face reminds me of a shower scrungie!
She's definitely a Sophie.
I had a basset hound as a kid. Keep a damp cloth handy to wipe drool off the bridge of her nose and to wipe her dinner off the ends of her ears. She’ll trip over those ears until her legs catch up with the rest of her body.
I'm voting Sophie. It's not a name I would pick for my own dog but I've been around a dog named Ruby and she was a total ****, so bad associations.
