First tattoo at 50 years old. I had no desire for a tattoo for my first 45 years, I was just heads down working and grinding.

I popped my head up to look around and next thing you know ended up with this on my forearm today:

Very tasteful! I have no tattoos and I may go to my grave without any. Or maybe not... My career has been mostly with one company, consisting of episodes where I left and then came back several times. I like the old company logo that was phased out a while ago. I like the idea of honoring the old guys who helped me when I was new. My internal debate continues.

Yeah, I guess I figured I’m more than halfway in the grave, so I better start actually living.

Nice, I have never gotten a tattoo and I am 66.
I’d have expected to have been in the same position. It is possible that I’m having a mid-life crisis and/or understanding my own mortality.

Looks great!
Although beware of the slippery slope:
"One tattoo is enough but two tattoos are way too few!"

Got my first one at 50. I don’t get why some people get so butt hurt over what someone else does with their body. Some people get downright nasty about it. Mostly on the forums. These people wouldn’t have the stones to say it to your face.

I have two full sleeves, among other parts, and when I drove to Alaska with my brother on our motorcycles, at almost every gas stop people would come up and ask me about them. 99% of the reaction has been positive.
