That hair is…fancy.
On second thought, they don’t look too different from the bands we were going to see when we were 15 or so

Did they have a big biker following? They were originally called “The Deltones” but then changed their name to “The Wild Thing” and they got progressively “wilder” as they went along.

They we’re actually a very good band and they always had all the cool gear at that time….Binson Echorec’s (the real deal, not the pedal) Standel Super Imperial amps, Gibson and Fender guitars, Hammond B-3 organ, etc.
Their home-base club was a joint called “The Jolly Roger” in Norfolk, Va. and it could be a pretty rough place at times…the guitar player’s name was “Pancho” and he was a nice guy though pretty quiet for the most part.
Their manager was a guy named Scott Ingram who was a heck of a promoter….the crazy hair was his idea….he had these guys booked all over the east coast…Boston, Philly, New York, Washington D.C, Baltimore, etc., they were a very successful club band back in the day.
They all lived together? You mean like the Monkees? The house is still there. Make a pilgrimage! It's right next to the airport so that would be easy.
