That exact model is one that I'm always ogling and say to myself "Ok, just buy it!" But then, whenever I'm actually shopping, I end up with something else!

Seriously, I've been wanting to buy this exact guitar for about two years now but have since bought many other guitars besides this one during that time! I really love that color combo with the maple board and all. I already have my Custom Shop '70s Telecaster with the Bigsby (pictured here), so I dunno.......something tells me I'll end up with the mocha one someday.😁

I also do not need another Telecaster or other guitar .... I have thought about getting the Noventa Tele, a HH-Tele or a Robert Cray Strat but I force myself to be rational, because I have enough guitars.
On the other hand there is one guitar I would buy if I could get it : a solid body Telecaster ,ash body, in natural finish with maple/rosewood neck with jumbofrets and 9,5" radius ....

Played many of these over the years.MIM Squier and MIJ.
Could never get myself to buy one.

Cons: Muddy neck pickup
Shrill bridge pickup
The saddles are a compromise with intonation
I prefer single vol and single tone controls but that's just me
frets are tiny
not a fan of the big shouldered U neck profile and the 7.25 radius
thick lacquer on the neck
Pros: Looks real cool
:)

I'm in love , so in love , do you know what I mean?

I know what you mean. I've been wanting one of those parallel universe tele-strats, except with a hard-tail. I haven't seen the exact one I want so I think I'll have to make it. I'm seriously in the mood for something quite different and they don't stock that at your local GC.

This is somewhat close, but it's got a trem and the neck looks unfinished. I have a scalloped amber colored Strat neck with the big headstock that I'm going to use on it, but I'd like to find a scalloped, roasted big-headed strat neck if I can.

And while tryna find pictures for this post I found this "tele-paul" that's getting the creative juices flowing too...

What do you guys think about a telebody, with a strat neck, and strat pickguard / HSS pickup configuration, but with a tune-o-matic stop-tail bridge?

We all want guitars we don't really need. It's just that some of us can't admit it. I'll be the first to admit that I love buying stuff I don't need, and am fortunate to be at a place in my life that I can do so (but not without hearing about it [x3] from Mrs. Roadie). Funny she only gripes about factory-made guitars with a definable price tag. YOLO, my dear wife...

What a great colour. No decision to make. You have to buy it! I have two Tele Customs (CV & Vintera) and I love both of them. Your guitar collection (and life in general) isn't complete without a Tele Custom.

Yeah I just bought another Tele this weekend (Players Tidepool) since I couldn’t bond with my PRS McCarty (which is quite a good guitar) but the Tele just has some magic about it, that I keep going back.

I do have a special issue that Fender made for Guitar Center, it's ash, quit heavy, it has great attack and sustain and a natural finish.
I changed the pickups to Dimarzio hum canceling pickups.
maple neck and fingerboard

I think it looks very great, and is an interesting combination. It combines some good features of Fender and Gibson.

You ALWAYS need another guitar. The question is do you need all the guitars you already have.

I finally got rid of one (while buying 2 new ones) and it was alright.

I am in the same boat as you. I don't need another guitar, but I would be willing to buy a guitar with the same spec's as yours, but I would add to it the following - 25.5" scale length, Seymour Duncan low output bridge humbucker and strat pick ups in middle and neck, 5 way blade (might be temped to go with butterscotch finish). Guitar can be made by any high quality manufacturer
