(First tdpri post!) I’m willing to bet (not nuts) the 1-3 dB difference between the tmtr and any twin is probably in speaker sensitivity. If the tmtr has some EV or JbLs, this mystery might be solved.

I've played out with my Tone Master twice now. I probably won't again before Halloween at the earliest then perhaps Christmas. Everyone who has heard and/or played it now says if they hadn't been told they would not have known it was a modeler. They thought it sounded and behaved like just another Twin.

No, but someone has to be aware of the product to know what it means.

I would like to swap my DRRI for a TMDR.

What do you think, what will be the price for a used TMDR in a few month?

Will there be a price drop for DRRI in the next few month, because everyone will try to sell them, to buy a TMDR?

I think the twin looks cool on stage. You need to have something pleasing to the eye ;-)

I would sell a fender reverbtank to buy the twin. Anyone interested?

Musicians Friend already backordered a month for TMTR - looks like they're selling.

Sorry if this has been linked before.

FWIW, this very talented and gracious guitar maven gent just posted his review of the ToneMaster Deluxe.

His promised A/B'ing of them will be very interesting, as he likes lush tones and different types of break-up. His videos are very useful generally, too, as he chooses a lot of great sounds and usefully quirky riffs to review.

FWIW, here's another demo. Not sure if it was posted yet, & apologies if so. Tough thread to keep up with.

Tough, also, to really tell via these demos, as places selling 'em sure have a vested interest in a little post-production sound enriching....

I’m very very excited... I have a TRTM headed this way. It’ll be here tomorrow. I appreciate all the reviews and info on this thread. Did I say I was excited?

Did someone already post the Andy A/B blind test of the Tonemaster DR against a DRRI ?

I knew right away which one was the Tonemaster .

He could have been shorter in his riffs and quicker going back and forth but it’s still good and kinda surprising ...

Now these are some chewy tones!

Can't wrap my nostalgia/crazy sense that tubes are alive while diodes are dead around how freakin' great this sounds. (Unless the YouTuber is fooling us with post-production tweaks.) But shazam, these are graily tones, indeed.

Finding sound like that when I was trying the TR out at GC is precisely why I bought it on the spot. You have to try it in person to appreciate it. Preferably with your own guitar.
