These are very hard to get right now, but it seems as if getting a new one out of Collings is almost cheaper than a marked up used one.

I ordered a WL-14, cross braced Jet Black, white pick guard. I wanted something different, that's different!

You are going to really like the Waterloo.
The WL-K model I own is a breeze to play and sounds much larger and louder than its tiny size would suggest.
I saved and searched for 18 months, and it has been worth the wait and expense.
Because Waterloos are very lightly built, take care to humidify in the dry months, and use the strings recommended by Collings.

Yes, the modest look appeals to me.
The back is very dark, with some choice mahogany underneath.
