So about a week ago, I ordered a Jodi Head guitar strap, "Stella White" off of her store on Reverb. It was a pre-order so I figured they had to make it and I would see it in a couple weeks, according to estimated ship time on the reverb listing. She called me today. "Hi, this is Jodi Head, can I speak with <my real name>" After a bit of mild shock and remembering I had ordered the strap, she explains she currently doesn't have enough of the right color leather to complete the strap and offered some suggestions on how she could get it done on time, or if I could wait a few more days, she could finish it as shown in the listing. I send her a picture of the guitar, tell her the strap is 25% of what I paid for the guitar (this one is embroidered on leather 3" strap,) so I'm being a bit overboard about it, but matching the colors was important, and I'd defer to her judgement. She loves the guitar (the one in my avatar) and says it would be best to complete the strap as designed and it would be finished within a week. Her guitar straps are not cheap and I think this is the second one of hers I will have, but the first leather one. Hats off to someone who still cares about doing business the right way. I am not affiliated with her in any way except buying a strap and the conversation above. If you need a strap, give hers a consideration - she is wonderfully nice and genuinely cares.
