I never thought I'd ever admit to this but I agree with Justin Bieber on something.

Well I just saw this news item on the BBC where they were talking about Justin Bieber dating a girl called Selena Gomez and everybody in facebook and twitter is going crazy asking Bieber to clarify himself about that and sending death threats to Gomez because of her robbing Bieber fans to actually having a go at him.

Bieber has a very valid point by saying "It's none of your business, leave us alone."

I never thought that it would ever come to this but I agree, if I start seeing a woman I also would love to have my privacy around her, not everybody has to know what happens when we turn out the lights in our bedroom.

I've been there, when I had my first girlfriend in high school everybody was gosipping about me, the geekiest guy in school, going out with this really smart girl. It was torture, I can only imagine that with the profile Bieber has at the moment how much worse it must be for him.

I agree with Bieber here; it's none of your busines.

I actually feel sorry for these kids like the jonas bros and bieber etc. Don't they see what happened to people like vanilla ice, the hell they will catch when their "fans" grow up will be immeasurable. Their parents have destroyed them. The girls have it easier because bubblegum pop is a girl thing but these poor young boys are gonna have a rough go of it, their paren't should be brought up on charges of employing minors.

both are celebs...their fans want to know everything about them...it may not be the fans business but you lose privacy being in the public eye...either deal with it or retire

That is the main reason I quit dating movie stars and supermodels back when I was about 18. It was fun while for awhile, but the pressure, oh man...

Bieber chose to build his career via Twitter and other social media.

I'm tired of the Bieb. I live in his hometown, and it's hard to go a day without seeing or hearing something about him. I tire of him slagging this place.

These folks want fans to interested enough to make them millionaires, they want them to pay attention down to what kind of underwear they wear practically, but they want them to stay out of their business when it comes to family and relationships. Folks are curious. When I was a kid my biggest hero was Steve Largent (Seahawk fan here), and I can't help it if I am interested in his family and career. It's spill over from being a celebrity. Now, I don't condone death threats, but all of what was stated above seems to come with the territory...

It's certainly true that they are in the public eye and have to deal with it. But that doesn't mean that he has to provide all the details, or that he can't try to draw a line of his choosing when it comes to his personal life. He can't control what others do, but he can decide what he's going to do.

The OP states that the girl is getting death threats, that suggests that there is a point where it all goes too far.

You say you were a geek who went out with a smart girl? Wow -- that really is unusual! No wonder people were talking.

Selina Gomez, born July 22, 1992 makes her over 18. For the Beib, if they are his age they are hot chicks. For me it might be there moms.

Yeah but I'm pretty sure 97% of the girls who like him are under 14.

    "It's none of your business."

Everyone has the right to make that statement.

I was disappointed that Bill Clinton didn't take this tack when he had the chance.

(This is not politics I'm talking about, it's personal privacy that should be for everyone.)

You know there is no law that says you have to answer your phone or anything else.

Didn't we just recognize John Lennon's assassination.

Seems like some privacy was in order there!

Celebrities don't "owe" the public anything other than what they choose to give.
